The reverse osmose technology relies on the pressure action more than osmotic pressure and completes the filtering by use of the capillary' action of the membrane. The processing techniques of reverse osmose technology include 3 parts: Pretreatment, membrane assembly connection techniques and after-treatment.
Pretreatment techniques: Intended to improve the quality of treated water, prevent the pollutants in such water from any damages on the membrane, and prolong the service life of membrane, so as to cut down on the operating cost.
Assemble connection way: Usually divided into I-level and multi-level connections (mostly 1-level nmlti-section) so-call 1-level is that the inflow liquid goes through membrane separation after pressurizing at one go; and 2-level separation needs the membrane separation to be done after pressurizing twice.
Alter-treatment techniques: Membrane-permeated water is alternatively termed as freshwater, namely, the outflow water permeating t~om the reserve penetration membrane through pressurizing. Since it is not possible for the membrane to hold back all the inorganic matters, the permeated water is bound to contain some ions and gas such as Na+, HCO3_, CO2, etc. The revere osmose technolvgy is widely used in de-salting of seawater or bitter water, and in the equipments of ford indvstry, drinking water and pharmaceutical water purification, owing to
